The Tower Hall
The Tower Hall is located on the 10th floor of the National Library and since it is accessible only through the reading areas of the library, the audience of the show gathers by the main entrance and heads over to the Tower Hall as a group all together. The temperature of the hall depends on the temperatures outside, which is why shows only take place there in the spring and autumn. Since the venue itself is very exciting and challenging in nature, so are the productions that can be found there. Depending on the placement of the room, the Tower Hall seats 70-100 people, with numbered seats.
VAT Theatre calls the Estonian National Library’s Theatre Hall its home. The Theatre Hall can be found in the underground floor of the library, with the entrance being right beside the cafe. The cozy lobby welcomes showgoers to the Hall with a display of photos from all our current productions. The Theatre Hall has numbered seats and seats 95 all together. It is a unique chamber hall where the audience and the performers are placed quite close together, feeling one another’s energy and mood. The Theatre Hall hosts regular shows for adults during nights, with shows for younger audiences playing during the day.
The Main Conference Hall
The Main Conference Hall is an excellent place to host larger audiences, seating 270 to 300 people. With this in mind, most of the shows hosted there are for school students and younger people in general. The seats in the hall are numbered.
The KUMU Auditorium
The KUMU Auditorium is located on the first floor of the KUMU art museum, near the entrance facing Kadriorg (right next to the KUMU cafe). This excellent auditorium boasts 245 numbered seats with all-round great visibility and a stage that is made for productions that need a bit more distance and room in general.
