Whisper of the heart

Boom-boom until it goes boom.

In an ideal world, people would be guided by their heart, ruled by their conscience and bound by their passions. There are only a few individuals for whom we open our hearts because the heart conceals the deepest secrets of the human soul. The heart is something we cannot live without.

But how does the individual benefit their heart? Is the heart merely a trusty tool or does it, too, have dreams, needs and maybe even a word of criticism aimed at its owner? Amid all the stress and the fast pace of life, a known Russian writer and dramatist, Yevgeni Grishkovets, finally grants the weary heart an opportunity to speak its mind. “Whisper of the Heart” is the third collaboration of the actor Lauri Saatpalu and director Margo Teder in VAT Theatre. They have previously collaborated on “The Great Moment of Joseph Bieder” (2012) and “How I Ate a Dog” (2015), the latter being also a work of Yevgeni Grishkovets.
