Passion. Pandemonium. Loss
Throughout European history, one rule has always stayed true – if one is born a man, you have to fight, argue, rule & conquer, spread your seed and kill, make the hard decisions and die for your ideals.
If you’re born a woman though, you should, for the love of all that is holy, steer clear of all of those things! A woman’s job is to be there to balance and soothe. To make life beautiful.
It does get old, once you’ve gotten the same task many lifetimes in a row. The urge to overstep those boundaries arises. Especially when there’s grand feelings involved. Especially when even death doesn’t break the cycle.
“Love” is a story of women, or perhaps of everyone, who want to live by following their heart. Events take us from caveman times to socialist Poland, from a shipwreck to an internment camp, from times of national awakening in the 19th century to 21st century Estonia. These stories start with love and end in scars.
