STAGE FIGHTING WORKSHOP FOR TEACHERS

TARGET GROUP: Teachers and people working with youngsters, max group size is ca 30 people
HOSTED: As an independent event
DURATION: 2-2,5h (120 minutes)
LOCATION AND REQUIREMENTS: Classroom or an auditorium with option to create an open space. Participants are recommended to wear trousers as it’ll be easier to perform the exercises.
GROUP FEE: 250€ (fuel cost will be added to events outside of Tallinn)
WORKSHOP CONTENT: The aim of the workshop is to give the participants an overview of a fairly new and special art form – film and stage fighting. It’s a rather controversial and magical field that looks forceful and violent on the outside but is very safe and flexible. Engaging in stage combat will boost your confidence, teach you how to read and trust your opponent and express your emotions through your body and voice. Stage combat will give you a chance to play through situations that rarely occur in everyday life. For instance – fighting with 3-5 opponents without any painful consequences regardless if you emerge from the fight a winner or loser. Combat as a choreography will develop and connect the participants and create a positive atmosphere. The workshop will culminate with an action scene directed by the participants.
