Estonian Improv Theatre was formed in 2009 by young Estonian theatre professionals. Their aim was to bring a new form to the theatre scene – improvisational theatre. Many Western collaborators gave a hand in importing the experience, and up to now we have offered audiences an experience of improv theatre through six productions and 50 commissioned performances.

In our contemporary world one of the ways to entertain ourselves is to spend evenings watching different TV channels and flicking between them. We can choose between different ‘ready-made’ stories without an option of changing the course of events. Estonian Improv Theatre considers this situation undemocratic and we brought to life “THE CLICK SHOW”. There we invite the audience to interfere with the story, rather than to consume the ready-made entertainment conserve.

On stage: performers Rednar Annus, Erki Aule, Mairi Jõgi, Rauno Kaibiainen, Merilin Kirbits, Maarika Mesipuu, Kati Ong and Maarius Pärn; musicians Tarvo Krall, Rein T. Rebane or Indrek Liit; lighting designer Mario Saarik.
